The Champions League winner, Spanish football giant Barcelona have identified Robinho as their ultimate option for building their perfect squad. Robinho is currently signed with Manchester City.

Amidst the uncertainty of his ultimate destination, the only certain thing about Robinho is that, he is going to leave Manchester City. Maybe in January, or in the upcoming summer, or maybe in 2011… Whatever it is, he will leave the City of Manchester ultimately. The question is, whether Barca can pick him up or not.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola will try his level best to persuade City to let Robinho leave after having played one season there. According to El Mundo Deportivo, Guardiola has already asked Txiki Begiristain, the Sporting Director of Barcelona, to give it a try. If Begiristain can attract the former Real Madrid Star to sign out from Manchester City that would be a special achievement for Barcelona.

Guardiola believes that the addition of the Brazilian star will enhance the perfection of his team. He wants to refine his band, which won La Liga defeating Manchester United last month.
